Our Programs

While Yong-In Martial Arts offers comprehensive traditional martial arts training, also emphasized is the training on how to seek alternatives to conflict. Each of our instructors are committed to teaching the physical skills while applying attitude-shaping exercises aimed at bringing out the best character and physical potential in each student.

We offer a very flexible class schedule with classes Monday through Saturday. You and your family will find a training routine that works best for YOU.

As soon as you become a martial arts student, you join a community that works together toward improved physical strength and stamina, better focus and concentration, greater self discipline, competency in self defense and, most importantly, increased self confidence. For us at Yong-In Martial Arts , the practice of martial arts means respecting each other, encouraging and supporting each other and celebrating each other's successes.

Belt Ranking System

Most are familiar with the concept of learning martial arts through the belt ranking ststem. At each belt level, the student is given specific techniques, forms, and mental training precepts to study and do their best at learning. After a period of time training with their assigned techniques, students gather together to be tested by the masters and instructors, and showcase what they've been working toward.

Color Belts- Our school offers 10 color belt technical levels: white, yellow, orange, green, blue, brown, brown/red, red, red/black and aprentice black belt. Each level requires not only has specific techniques to be learned, but also a required period of training time, with higher belts requiring longer times.
Black Belts-After completeing the color belt program requirements and testing for the senoir level, you will then move on to advanced training in our Black Belt program. Each level of the Dan belts require years of training and become more technical and difficult.

Childrens Programs

For children, our "Little Tigers" classes emphasiize character development and physical fitness and coordination. Children love learning at Yong-In Martial Arts. Our programs are high-energy, fun and interactive. Learning martial arts is a physical endeavor, involving all muscle groups to help develop a student's physical fitness. We go far beyond just learning physical moves and martial arts techniques. Wwe use martial arts as a mechanism to develop positive character and life-improvement skills in our students.

Member Leadership

The Leadership Program is open to all students who want to reach their full potential, not only as martial artists, but leaders in their schools and communities. Yong-In Martial Arts Leadership encourages students demonstrate techniques to other students & later to lead drills. Students learn how to: act respectfully & responsibly, speak in front of their classmates, give good handshakes and be better listeners. Improved eye contact, self discipline, confidence, increased attention span, and better behavior in public, at school and at home are some of many attributes you will notice in your Student Leader.

The Award winning Yon-In Martial Arts Demo Team is made up of students who are extremely motivated, talented and professional in everything they do. The Team adds excitement and enthusiasm to all types of events. Our schools Demonstration Team is a tremendous opportunity to train and work together as a team. Competition Training

Yong-In Martial Arts hold inter-school tournaments and co-host open tournaments in North Georgia. Special classes are held periodically to help interested students train and prepare for these special events.

Tournaments are a optional fun family oriented event for students to test their skills against other students from other schools within the same age, sex and belt color. This helps build confidence, acknowledge areas of improvement and to enjoy the thrill of competition. Students can compete in Forms, Board Breaking, and Sparring.
