Yong-In Martial Arts of Cherokee County has a stong, established tradition of martial arts education tht spans three decades and extends back to the ancient traditions of the Korean methods of Tae Kwon Do. Under the organizatiion of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), headquarted in Seoul, Korea, our program and ranking system are recognized around the world.
While paying respect to Taekwondo's ancient traditions, we also pay homage to our Headmaster's background at Yong-In University in Korea, where the old traditions are melded with modern scientific methods of sport research and technology.
Our Instructors are all certified black belts and specially trained for Tae Kwon Do Instruction.
Our Students range from all ages with interest varying from stress relieving, health promoting exercises to intense, traditional training that the Martial Arts are so famous for.
Service to our greater community is an important part of our schools. Through sponsorship of local events, peforming demonstrations, and cultural events and exchanges, Yong-In Martial Arts brings the tradtional precepts of Korean martial arts and personal growth to our everyday lives.
We strengthen our community by going beyond training aspects by holding events such as Summer/Holiday Day camps, Picnics, Our Winter Holiday Dinner, Parents Nights Out and the Martial Arts festival, just name a few.
